Make sure your Wifi is in the 2.4Ghz mode. Our cameras cannot work with a 5Ghz Wifi signal.

For the first installation, please install the camera near the router. The signal needs to be as strong as possible during this process.

Your mobile phone must be on the same Wifi network.

Make sure to wait from 1Mn to 1Mn30 before starting the installation process after you plugged the camera to the outlet.

Sometimes, you may not be able to install your camera directly in Wifi.

You can use the lan cable included in the box to proceed with the installation.

Connect the camera to the router with this cable and plug the power adapter to the outlet.

Launch KODAK Security App and start the installation process. Select Wifi Cameras, For Existing systems …

Once installed, you can go to the Advanced settings to set up the Wifi access. You will then be able to remove the lan cable.

First, please insert an SD Card into the camera ( we recommend a class 10 SD Card ) because the videos are initially saved on the SD Card. Once recorded, and if all the settings are ok, the videos will be transfered to your Google Drive account.

ONVIF: Due to the technology we used in our products (Gateway, compatibility cameras / alarms), we have decided not to make our products ONVIF compatible.

PC Software : Our cameras are fully configurable and usable via the free application KODAK Security. As a result, we favored the development of innovative features on the mobile application (management of security accessories, Google Drive Compatibility) rather than developing a PC software. Indeed, for data security issues of our users, we use only applications or software developed in-house and not third-party software which often is vulnerable to security risks.

If you have the WRC801 compatible with your product, here is the function of the 4 buttons:

Closed lock: If you wish to activate the alarm function (either of your camera or of your alarm)

Open lock: If you wish to disable the Alarm function.

Camera: It allows you to trigger recording immediately (if an SD card is installed)

Exclamation Point: This is the Panic button. In case of danger, press this button for 3 seconds to trigger the alarm even if it is not armed.

In order to save battery life and not receive multiple notifications in a short time, your Motion Sensor will go in sleep mode during 2 minutes after a notification.

This information doesn’t come from the central but from a weather service on the internet.

To display the corresponding values, you must get into the advanced settings (wheel) and indicate your city of residence.

To receive the notifications you have to :

  • Go in the settings icon
  • Go in the notifications part
  • Activate the push notifications
When you add a KODAK Camera to your alarm system, this one is reprensented by a round icon.

Once connected to your control panel, the icon is red while the connection is established (a few seconds) then it will turn black, meaning it’s ready.

If it stays red, it means that the connection is not made between the alarm system and the camera. Check your Wifi network and repeat the installation.
